Unlike bank transfers, in cryptocurrency any mistake can result in a complete loss of funds. To minimize risks, always double-check the recipient’s address: copy it only from official sources and verify the first and last characters. Make sure to select the correct network — for example, USDT can be sent via ERC20, TRC20, or BEP20, and choosing the wrong one may cause the funds to be lost. For coins such as XRP, XLM, EOS, or BNB BEP2, a memo/tag must always be entered. If the amount is large, first make a small test transfer, and only then send the remaining funds. Take transaction fees into account, as they can differ by tens of times depending on the network. Use only official apps and services, and beware of phishing websites. Check whether the network is congested, as this can cause transactions to get stuck. Most importantly, always keep the TxID so you have proof in case of any issues.
